I am happily married with three beautiful grand-daughters, and three adult children.  Living on the "farm” with my husband, we have approximately 50 chickens (we’ve downsized), dogs, cats, ducks, and four goats, Billy, Rose, Buttercup, & Lily, and gophers.  Actually the gophers were there before we were and we see them once in a while and yes, we leave them alone!  In fact two of the cats and one of the dogs belong to my children and I sort of inherited them !

A born-again Christian who loves Jesus Christ very much.  I am passionate about family and faith.   Treat others with respect - even with differing viewpoints is somewhat of my mantra.

With great ambition I am entering into a new phase and my interests are many, running, zumba (if you haven't tried it, you should) cooking - my chrocolate truffles are divine – woo hoo for Paula Deen and Rachel Ray, reading – biographies, historical, and short stories, and fitness.   Interested in vegetable growing but I have to admit my husband is the gardener. 

Wood staining, antiques, and painting are activities I am learning about, and I enjoy learning as much about anything as I can.  Love lighthouses, plumerias (a tropical plant), hiking, cooking, and life.   At some point, I would like to try barrel-racing (would be a sight to see)  learn how to play a guitar properly, go snorkeling, and many other things...... Thinking of joining the local roller derby team - need to learn to skate better tho.... Life is to be lived with zest and fun.   

Music speaks to the soul and I enjoy just about anything, jazz, blues, soft rock, and oldies - 60 - 80, contemporary Christian.
